Approved by the Association of American Railroads (AAR), the GRIP STRUT Safety Plate exceeds the Federal anti-slip requirements. It features a serrated surface providing slip-resistance in all directions. Large, diamond-shaped openings help shed snow, ice and mud off the surface to help prevent slippage.

Running boards, brake steps and end platforms are also available with our PERF-O GRIP round hole pattern. This design is light-weight and resilient making it easy to handle and install, as well as provide slip resistance in all directions.

AAR approved bar grating for tank cars and covered hoppers is available in 1", 1 1/2", 2" and 3" heights. End platforms and dome platforms are available up to 36" wide, 28' long. With 32 years of experience, we can get you the material you need for any car type.
